Winemaker's Notes 2018 Coombsville

“The 2018 is our second vintage out of this marvelous Coombsville AVA vineyard, and we were gifted with an almost perfect growth and ripening season for this one. The influence of the San Pablo Bay promotes cooler nights than the hotter nighttime temps of the valley floor, and Coombsville benefits from the longer ‘hang time' in its ripening phase, producing extraordinarily fruit-forward wines with an undeniable nose of Red and Blue fruit, earth and the sharp mineral notes of the western mountain soil.”
